Beautiful Bedern Hall is a little hidden gem in York. I was commissioned to create a four page trail for young visitors, to engage them with the space and help them explore it.
Stanley the Squirrel leads visitors through the trail which features a series of fun activities, interesting facts and prompts that encourage visitors to spot features and think about what they can see. I based Stanley on a seal matrix that was discovered during a nearby archaeological excavation
The colouring sheets below were also developed for the hall, one based on an illuminated manuscript and the other one based on the carvings on an oak chair at the hall.
